We need your help to close the last spousal rape loophole—everyone must raise their voices in favor of the bill. Please take a few minutes to share these scripts on social media, demanding a YES vote on SB 258.

Calling on Assemblymember Nick Schultz and the Public Safety Committee to vote YES on SB 258. CA is the ONLY state where law permits the rape of a spouse who is unable to consent due to a disability. It is unconscionable that CA law specifically targets disabled spouses and denies them the same protections from rape that all other Californians receive. RAPE IS RAPE. Disabled people deserve justice.
